Some journalists and YouTubers like to speak about ChatGPT, but most content is misleading, IMHO.
It's either alarmist or lazy.
"AI will destroy jobs, perhaps the entire human race..."
Yeah, life is dangerous. AI IS potentially dangerous too, but such comments do not bring any value, and there are so many other threats to consider these days.
AI will probably destroy some jobs. While it is undeniable and worrying in some sectors, it could also create new kinds of jobs and businesses.
Create NEW businesses
ChatGPT and other AI tools can bring new capabilities to online businesses, but most tutorials I've seen on the topic consist of recreating existing successful businesses with AI.
That's not the point, to me, and it might mislead many people trying to be part of it. Stop listening to these useless business ideas, like automating logo creation or generating random content, as, most of the time, there's no valid argument except maybe "AI can do it."
Yeah, AI can do it, but can you sell it? Do you have the right marketing channels and, above all, customers who are willing to pay for that?
I did not find many videos tackling this aspect, which is a bit worrying for businesses or marketing gurus.
How to take the most out of AI tools
This is the new revolution, so nobody knows what the future holds, and people who pretend the contrary simply lie to you.
However, you may leverage AI to unlock undiscovered marketing niches. Automating tasks is great, but it has to have a purpose.
Prompt engineering tricks are great too, but the value would be in the interface you might create to help users take the most out of ChatGPT, for example.
If I can simply click on a button or use presets to improve results generated by the tool, your service has some value. Otherwise, it's just a wiki, or a blog post, which is fantastic, but it's another story when you want to create a real business.
Wrap up
I'm aware this one is a bit opinionated, but I'm sick of watching the same content that pushes people toward very predictable scenarios while the business is elsewhere.
Just a thought.
